IMPROVING MOBILITY AND ACCESS TO IT It wouldn’t be CES without the discussion and unveiling of new mobility options, especially around the topic of autonomous vehicles. However, this year’s focus was not on large autonomous vehicles but instead the focus was on smaller, more flexible vehicles that help solve the ‘last mile’ problem. And when it came to those larger autonomous vehicles, the show’s focus was on improving safety and providing activities that passengers can partake in when inside the self-driving cars. Honda and Sony in particular have shown off concept cars that keep the traveller entertained and safe whilst in the car.
