September 9, 2021 Dear Friends, It is my pleasure to welcome you to the 2021 Burbank International Film Festival. The past 13 years have provided up-and-coming filmmakers with an opportunity to showcase their work to the community as well as contribute to the vibrant arts culture of our region. After enduring the hardships of the pandemic, the festival will provide a wonderful opportunity for everyone to reconnect and create new memories with these independent films as the focal point. I thank the organizers of the festival for their hard work and dedication to showcasing the prolific filmmaking talent of the participants as well as their commitment to supporting Burbank and the greater Los Angeles area as the center of the media world. Synopsis: Inspired by a true story in Hong Kong, MIL-
LION LOVES IN ME follows the story of a wealthy
mother and daughter who suffer from the psychologi-
cal issues of Obsessive-Compulsive Disorders (OCD).
The story begins when Katy, the 45-year old daughter,
appears in a raincoat, mask and gloves, walking down
the alley of her apartment. Behind their weird appear-
ances, Katy and her mother both live an extremely
well-off life, patron high end restaurants, and have
an uncontrollable urge to shop for clothes, handbags
and pets.
