Synthetic Water Soluble Colours
Water soluble dyes dissolve in each and every product and application where free water is available as this is how the colour is
delivered. Available in powdered or granular form, or even as pre-dissolved liquid, water soluble colours of EXTRACHEM achie-
ve high levels of solubility and exceptionally low insolubles. Certainly all colours are conforming to the Directive 231/2012/EU
and can also be supplied as FDA approved FD&C colours.
Synthetische wasserlösliche Farbstoffe
Wasserlösliche Farbstoffe lösen sich in jedem Produkt und jeder Anwendung auf, in dem freies Wasser verfügbar ist. EXTRA-
CHEM bietet wasserlösliche Farbstoffe als Puder, Granulat und sogar als vorgelöste Flüssigkeiten an, die sich durch eine sehr
hohe Löslichkeit und einen außergewöhnlich geringen Anteil an unlöslichen Partikeln auszeichnen. Eine breite Auswahl an
Mischungen, die auch gerne an Kundenwünsche angepasst werden, komplettiert die Produktpalette. Selbstredend erfüllen
alle Farbstoffe die Reinheitskriterien der Richtlinie 231/2012/EU.
Die jeweiligen in den USA zugelassenen wasserlöslichen Farbstoffe sind ebenfalls als FD&C-zertifizierte Farbstoffe erhältlich. Jede
Batch wird mittels Muster von der FDA analysiert, freigegeben und unter der individuellen zertifizierten Batch-Nummer geführt.

Water Insoluble Lake Colours
Lake colours are solid particles of colour which do not dissolve in water and do not “bleed”, by contact with water. Lake co-
lours are water soluble colours bonded on Alumina substrate which results in better light stability than water soluble colours
and furthermore offer an opportunity to colour items where water soluble colours are not able to do so, such as Oils and Fats,
by dispersion in the product. Certainly all colours are conforming to the Directive 231/2012/EU and can also be supplied as
FDA approved FD&C colours.
Wasserunlösliche verlackte Farbstoffe
Wasserunlösliche Farbstoffe sind wasserlösliche Farbstoffe, die von einer Aluminiumbeschichtung ummantelt sind. Da sich die
Farbpigmente nicht in Wasser auflösen, können auf diese Weise auch Produkte gefärbt werden, bei denen wasserlösliche Pro-
dukte versagen, wie beispielsweise Öle und Fette. Alle wasserunlöslichen Pigmente der EXTRACHEM sind sowohl in Puderform
als auch diversen Dispersionen erhältlich. Selbstredend erfüllen alle Farbstoffe die Reinheitskriterien der Richtlinie 231/2012/EU.

Colouring Foodstuffs
Colouring Foodstuffs are ingredients that can be used within a food product to import colour, made from fruits, vegetables
and edible plants. Customers should be aware that on 29.11.2013, guidance was released by the European Commission to be
used in conjunction with Regulation 1333/2008 for the evaluation of whether or not a product may be used as a Colouring
Foodstuff or labelled as a colour (on the proviso that it has Natural Colour status according to Regulation 231/2012).
Färbende Extrakte
Färbende Extrakte werden aus Beeren, Früchten, Gewürzen, Gemüse und essbaren Pflanzen gewonnen, die auf natürliche Wei-
se Farbe enthalten. Färbende Extrakte können aufgrund Ihrer Bearbeitung als Clean Label-Produkte ausgezeichnet werden.
Kunden sollten beachten, dass ab 29.11.2013 die neue Richtlinie 1333/2008 von der Europäischen Kommission in Kraft getreten
ist, die neu definiert, ob ein Produkt als Färbender Extrakt oder als natürlicher Farbstoff (mit E-Nummer) deklariert werden darf.

vegetable oil or propylene glycol and in water. We have some standard products but also can create tailor-made colours to
our customers‘ own needs.
