When creating the Carpet Choice Corporate Wardrobe, the importance of having a corporate
wardrobe and the meaning of ‘uniform’ had to be established.
Definition:
Uniform – always the same
- consistent – the same throughout
- undifferentiated
- clothing of distinctive design worn by Members of the same group as a means of
identification
After researching the uniforms of other major home products retailers, it was obvious that companies
with a corporate uniform looked more professional and were easier to identify than companies who
did not have one.
Carpet Choice, in conjunction with Player Sportswear is offering a revised corporate wardrobe. The
range incorporates smart and practical pieces that are styled with high quality fabrics. The total look
will undoubtedly make a positive first impression, whilst creating a look that truly emulates the
Carpet Choice brand.

All items are available to order from Player Sportswear, with delivery being approximately 21 - 28

How to care for your garments
The garments in the Carpet Choice Corporate Wardrobe are designed to be comfortable and
durable. Each item has specific cleaning instructions on its care label, and it is very important these
are followed.
Poly/Cotton Shirting
All shirts can be machine or hand washed. It is preferable to keep separate from heavily soiled
garments to avoid discolouration. To make it easier to iron, these garments are best dried on a coat
hanger.
Jackets – Poly Viscose
Jackets can be hand washed, but dry cleaning is recommended to maintain shape. If you hand
wash these garments, ensure you dry these on a coat hanger so they maintain their shape.
Skirts and Trousers – Poly Viscose
Skirts and trousers can be machine or hand washed. To avoid discolouration, separate dark colours
and do not wash with heavily soiled garments. To make it easier to iron, ensure these garments are
dried on a coat hanger.
Pants – Cotton
Machine or hand wash. To make these garments easier to iron, ensure they are dried on a coat
hanger.
Wool Knitwear
Machine or hand wash. Do not bleach or soak. Avoid excess rubbing of hard objects against
garment or this can cause pilling. Do not tumble dry.
Ties
Untie after wear to avoid permanent creasing. If ironing is required set iron to polyester and use
lightly.

The Carpet Choice Corporate Wardrobe is fully registered as a tax-deductible wardrobe. You are
able to claim the cost of your uniform, as well as ancillary costs such as dry cleaning, maintenance
and alteration costs as a personal tax deduction.
