Be sure to catch The Lord Chamberlain’s Men (now in their 15th year!) perform Shakespeare as it would have been; all male, in the open and in full Elizabethan costume with traditional music and dance. JUNE 11 Our fortnightly Toddles are a fantastic opportunity for parents with pre- JULY 23 school children to enjoy a guided walk in the Hylands Park and Gardens, AUG 6 followed by fun-filled crafts in the Hylands House workshop. This is a SEPT 17 great opportunity to enjoy our stunning Estate and mix with other OCT 1,15&29 parents with children of a similar age in a friendly setting. It is the perfect place to enjoy with friends and family. HYLANDS ARTISTS’ STUDIOS The Artists’ Studios are located in The Stables on the ground floor and first floor. Visitors can meet our resident artists and view their work as they create unique bespoke pieces in their studios. The resident artists at Hylands Estate are a diverse collection of skilled designers and makers who not only create their own original work for purchase but also run demonstrations, workshops and exhibitions. It offers a fantastic range of food for all the family and Lavazza coffee. The Bookshop carries a good stock of second-hand books covering many subjects. The Friends rely on donations of all types of books which may be delivered and left at the Bookshop.
