Prelude
Welcome

Gathering Song: “Where The Spirit of The Lord Is” B.D.Fielding
   For we know the truth,
Your truth has set us free
   In Your Name alone,
   We have been released
   You are here with us
   You are here with us
   We are slaves no more,
   freedom is our hope
   Never looking back,
   Jesus You are Lord
   We give all to You
   We give all to You
   [chorus]:
Where the Spirit of the Lord is
   There is freedom
Where the Spirit of the Lord is
Chains are broken, eyes are open
   Christ is with us
   Christ is with us
   Who the Son has freed,
   He is free indeed
   All our sin is gone,
   we have been redeemed
   Jesus paid it all
   Jesus paid it all (Chorus)
Open wide the gates of Heaven
Fill our hearts as we surrender
   Lord, let Your presence fall
   Lord, let Your presence fall
Open wide the gates of Heaven
   We will worship You forever
   Lord, let Your presence fall
Lord, let Your glory fall (chorus)

“Goodness of God” J. Ingram/B. Johnson/E. Cash/B. Fielding/J. Johnson
   I love you, Lord
O Your mercy never fails me
All my days, I’ve been held in Your hand
From the moment that I wake up
   Until I lay my head
I will sing of the goodness of God

   [Chorus]:
All my life, You have been faithful
All my life, You have been so, so good
With every breath that I am able
I will sing of the goodness of God

   I love Your voice
You have led me through the fire
   In darkest night,
You are close like no other
I’ve known You as a Father
I’ve known You as a Friend
And I have lived in the goodness of God (chorus)

   Your goodness is running after,
   running after me
   Your goodness is running after,
   running after me
   With my life laid down,
   I’m surrendered now,
   I give You everything
   Your goodness is running after,
   running after me (Chorus)
Words of Confession and Forgiveness:
L: Blessed be the holy Trinity, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, one God, the God of
manna, the God of miracles, the God of mercy.
 All: Amen.
L: Drawn to Christ and seeking God’s abundance, let us confess our sin.
                            Silence is kept for reflection.
  L: God, our provider,
All: help us. It is hard to believe there is enough to share. We question your
ways when they differ from the ways of the world in which we live. We
turn to our own understanding rather than trusting in you. We take of-
fense at your teachings and your ways. Turn us again to you. Where else
can we turn? Share with us the words of eternal life and feed us for life in
      the world. Amen.
L: Beloved people of God: in Jesus, the manna from heaven, you are fed and
nourished. By Jesus, the worker of miracles, there is always more than
enough. Through Jesus, the bread of life, you are shown God’s mercy: you are
forgiven and loved into abundant life.
 All: Amen.
Lesson: Ephesians 6:10-20
Psalm 34:15-22
L: The eyes of the Lord are on the righteous,
and his ears are open to their cry.
All: The face of the Lord is against evildoers,
to cut off the remembrance of them from the earth.
L: When the righteous cry for help, the Lord hears,
and rescues them from all their troubles.
All: The Lord is near to the broken-hearted,
and saves the crushed in spirit.
L: Many are the afflictions of the righteous,
but the Lord rescues them from them all.
All: He keeps all their bones;
not one of them will be broken.
L: Evil brings death to the wicked,
and those who hate the righteous will be condemned.
All: The Lord redeems the life of his servants;
none of those who take refuge in him will be condemned.
*Gospel: J ohn 6:56-69

The Word for the Day “Broken To Heal” Pastor Paul N. Svingen

Song of the Day “Holy Spirit” B.J. Torwalt/K. Torwalt
   There’s nothing worth more
   That could ever come close
   No thing can compare
   You’re our Living Hope
   Your Presence

   I’ve tasted and seen
   Of the sweetest of loves
   Where my heart becomes free
   And my shame is undone
   Your Presence, Lord
   [chorus]:
Holy Spirit, You are welcome here
Come flood this place and fill the atmosphere
Your glory, God, is what our hearts long for
To be overcome by Your Presence, Lord
Let us become more aware of Your Presence
Let us experience the glory of Your goodness (repeat, chorus)

Apostles’ Creed
I believe in God, the Father almighty, creator of heaven and earth.
I believe in Jesus Christ, God’s only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the
Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was
crucified, died, and was buried; he descended to the dead. On the third day he
rose again; he ascended into heaven, he is seated at the right hand of the
Father, and he will come to judge the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic church, the communion of saints,
the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting.
    Amen.

Prayers of the Church
 L: Hear us, O God
All: Your mercy is great.

*Offering Prayer
All: Jesus, Bread of life, you have set this table with your very self, and called us
to the feast of plenty. Gather what has been sown among us, and strengthen
us in this meal. Make us to be what we receive here, your body for the life of
       the world. Amen.

   All who are thirsty
   and all who are weak
   Come to the fountain
Dip your heart in the stream of life
Let the pain and the sorrow
   be washed away
In the waves of His mercy
As deep cries out to deep, we sing

   [chorus]
   Come, Lord Jesus, come (repeat)

   Holy Spirit, come
   Holy Spirit, come
   Holy Spirit, come
   Holy Spirit, come
As deep cries out to deep
As deep cries out to deep
As deep cries out to deep we sing (chorus)
