Massey University doctoral student, Anna Palmer, is currently conducting a study to investigate the training, racing and career longevity of racing greyhounds in New Zealand. Part of this project is focusing on the current training practices of greyhounds in preparation for racing, and during their racing career. In order to do this, a short survey has been designed to ask trainers about how they train their dogs and the type of facilities they use. All information provided by trainers will be anonymous and confidential. Surveys will be sent to all licensed trainers during September 2019. Please contact Anna Palmer on a.palmer@massey.ac.nz for more information.
