PASS APPLICATION • Work Goal: My work goal is to be a mobile pet groomer and own my own business called Pups and Suds • Describe the duties and tasks you expect to complete: •I will learn how to manage my online scheduling application •I will arrive at the client's home, meet with the owner, complete necessary paperwork and review service •Receive the dog, perform grooming tasks, such as... •Operate cellphone for payment through Square money management system •Etc. 15
PASS APPLICATION • How did you decide on this work goal and what makes this work attractive to you? Due to my disability I have a need to set my own schedule. I am at my best when traveling and when working with pets. My disability allows me to connect with dogs because of my expertise and patience in connecting with dogs. My goal is to purchase the necessary equipment through a PASS plan, vocational rehabilitation and a local grant through my state. Because of my skill set and my need to have autonomy in my schedule due to my disabling condition, owning Pups and Suds meets my needs and allows me to make an income reducing my need for SSI and allowing me to reach SGA. 16

"You can’t connect the dots looking forward; you can only connect them looking backwards. So you have to trust that the dots will somehow connect in your future. You have to trust in something — your gut, destiny, life, karma, whatever. This approach has never let me down, and it has made all the difference in my life.” – Steve Jobs 24
