In a new book about Prince Harry and Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, Prince Harry accuses
his brother Prince William, other members of the Royal Family, courtiers and those in their
social circle of being snobbish to Meghan. The Duchess of Sussex also felt that she was
treated snobbishly by the royal family and thier social circle.
Is Prince William a Snob?
The Direct Resource Star represents helpful people. The star brings out kindness and
helpfulness from the person who has the star in their Bazi Chart. People with this star
will always have support from the people around them. The characteristic of snobbery
arises from the influence of unhealthy Direct Resource (DR) Stars. The star is considered
unhealthy or negative when there are too many of the DR Stars or the DR Star is affected

If you check out Prince William’s Bazi Chart, you can see that there are too many DR Stars.
The Pig (亥 Hai) sign which contains the DR Stars is in Self-Punishment. Self-Punishment
means that you create your own problems or troubles. The Pig sign also represents youth.
Hence, the star can bring out childish and immature behaviour. The DR Star in the Year
Stem is in a clashing relationship (壬 Ren clashes with 丙 Bing). To sum up, DR in Self-
Punishment indicates that the person will act superior to others and offer help and advice
that make others feel uncomfortable or inferior.
Why are some people hurt badly by this attitude while others are indifferent?
When you are self-assured and appreciate your qualities and abilities, you will naturally
not be bothered by a display of snobbishness from others. A confident person knows when
to be assertive and put the snob in their place. Well, this is easier said than done.

There is no 甲 Jia in Kate Middleton’s Bazi Chart. She has no affinity with her sister-in-
law. Their paths crossed because Meghan became the wife of Prince William’s brother. So,
it is hard for the Duchesses to become good friends and enjoy a close relationship. Kate
only sees dealing with Meghan as a duty. She needs to treat her well because she is her
sister-in-law. While Kate has also faced the same problems as Meghan, such as jibes and

he Qi of 2021 will not suddenly disappear as we step into the New Year on 4 February
2022. Neither will the Qi of 2022 appear as the clock strikes midnight on 4 February
2022.
The Qi in the cosmos flows in two rhythms - diffused Qi and coagulated Qi. Diffused Qi is
active but gentle and cannot be detected directly. It exists everywhere. Coagulated Qi is
manifested in physical form. In Chinese Metaphysics study, coagulated Qi are represented
by people and landforms. Diffused Qi, on the other hand, is the Qi that is unseen. It is the
Qi that changes constantly. When Feng Shui practitioners talk about the change of Qi every
year, they are talking about diffused Qi. This is the Qi that will affect our fortunes every
year. When the annual diffused Qi interacts with the coagulated Qi, this relationship tells
us how people or individuals will fare for the year.
The movement of Qi can be generalized into four aspects: ascending, descending, exiting
and entering. Ascending movement refers to the movement from below; descending
movement refers to a movement from above; exiting movement is a movement from the
interior, and entering movement is movement from the exterior.
Qi entering from the exterior means that the Qi will make its presence felt slowly. The
Ascending Qi is the Qi that is acquiring momentum to rise and grow stronger. The
Descending Qi is the Qi that has peaked and is starting to lose momentum. The Qi that exits
from the interior is dead Qi that no longer has the ability to influence anything.
A Bazi Pillar consists of the Heavenly Stem and Earthly Branch. The Ren Yin (壬寅 Water
18 September 2021 | BaziChic.comTiger) represents the Bazi Pillar of 2022. This Pillar represents the Qi of the year and
will give us an idea of when the Qi of the year 2022 will start making its presence felt.
The 壬 Ren Stem enters and makes its presence felt right in February which is a Ren Yin
month in a Ren Yin year. In February 2022, the Ren Yin will make an appearance, marking
the arrival of the Qi of 2022 which is Ren Yin in nature. If we are to pinpoint the exact
arrival of this Qi, we can scan through the calendar and discover that the Ren Yin Pillar
falls on 18 February 2022. The Water element is usually related to movement, mobility,
transportation, trading and economic matters. With the negative outlook brought about
by the pandemic, the Government will take a wait-and-see position in the last quarter of
2021 when implementing policies for the year 2022. Most policies will come into effect or
be executed after 18 February 2022.
The full impact of the Water Qi of the Water Tiger will only arrive in February 2022, the
month of the Tiger. The Qi of 2022 will begin to make its presence felt much later on 18
February 2022. In comparison, the 2021 Qi had already made its presence felt in December
2020.
So, whether the year 2022 is favourable or unfavourable to you, you will feel its effects
much later, some time after 18 February 2022.
Meanwhile, the Qi of 2021 represented by Xin Chou (辛丑 Metal Ox) will continue to hang
around until 23 June 2022, when it makes a full exit. The 辛 Xin Stem will begin descending
in June 2022 and exit in July 2022. The Chou (丑 Ox) Branch will descend on 23 June 2022
and exit in July 2022. If the Ox year is favourable to you, you can continue to enjoy this
good fortune until June 2022. If the Ox year is unfavourable to you, such as those with the
Horse, Goat and Dog zodiacs, you will continue to experience negativity until June 2022.

Pandemic – COVID-19 (天芮 Heavenly Grain Star)
The spread of COVID-19 has wreaked havoc in everyone’s lives for about 2 years. We will
see the spread of COVID-19 decline or at least be under control. There is still no complete
cure for COVID-19 but advance medical treatment will be able to reduce the spread and
bad effects of this viral illness. In 2022, the death toll arising from COVID-19 will also
slowly reduce and end in the third or last quarter of the year. Since the COVID-19 virus is
here to stay, people will need to adapt to the new normal. Maintaining social distancing and

In 2022, the Water Tiger year, the Grand Duke which is represented by the 壬 Ren Stem
will be in the Southeast and enter into Death and Emptiness. No world leader will stand
out in 2022. The United States (US) and China trade conflict and tech war will continue but
both countries will try to downplay their rivalry and avoid unnecessary clashes. However,
around April or May, a conflict may break out again as the US meddles in territorial disputes
between China and the other Asian countries in the South China Sea. While there will be
gunshots fired in the disputed areas, no real war will break out in 2022.
Global Economy (乾 Qian Trigram)
In general, the Qian Trigram represents the global economy. Some businesses will shut
down for good especially those in retail. More businesspeople will migrate their businesses
online. There will also be many new start-up online businesses. Production will experience
slow growth as the economy slowly recovers. At the start of the year, retrenchment and
unemployment will increase. The Harm Door indicates that the US and China trade war
will continue. More technology and financial companies will be affected by the trade war.
Global Stock Market (景門 Scenery Door)
The formation at the Scenery Door Palace indicates a bullish market. Technology, solar
power, gas, aviation, construction and property development, especially those involved in
high rise development, will be taking the lead.
Danger and Natural Disaster (Southeast and Northwest Palaces)
Southeast and Northwest countries such as those in Southeast Asia and Europe will
be prone to natural disasters such as soil erosion, floods, hurricanes, and earthquakes.
Countries in Northwest Europe and Canada may experience forest fires or fire-related
disasters. Southeast Asian countries are also likely to experience robbery, theft and rioting.

Besides, the location of the kitchen, the placement of the stove is also an important
consideration as it determines the steadiness of your income. In Feng Shui study, the main

Is your kitchen in the right location?
There are three ways to determine the auspicious location for the kitchen:
1. 八宅风水 The Eight Mansion Practice
The Eight Mansion theory is a very popular Feng Shui practice. It is used in internal
Feng Shui to determine the auspicious location for the bedroom, kitchen and main

The producing cycle is always considered to be a representation of the smooth flow

The Heavenly Doctor sector, which is of the Yin Earth Element, is also an auspicious

2. 玄空风水 The Xuan Kong Flying Star Practice
The Xuan Kong Flying Star theory is another popular Feng Shui practice. It brings
short term benefits. It is used in internal Feng Shui to achieve faster results.
The Xuan Kong Flying Stars theory makes use of a Lo Shu Square with nine numbers
representing the flying stars. The Lo Shu Square is divided into nine grids, each
containing a flying star. Every property has its own Qi map of the Flying Stars which

ome Bazi natal charts are heavily skewed towards one or two Elements out of the Five
Elements. In Bazi studies, we called these Special Structures. There are four types of
Special Structures in Bazi studies. In the old days, these four Special Structures were
known as the Noble Charts. A person with this type of Special Structure will live a noble and
successful life. But will they? The premise that people with Special Structures will be noble
and have a noble life is now subject to debate.
In this issue’s Bazi 101, we want to explore the Two Gods Structure. When the Bazi Chart,
including the Day Master, consists of predominantly 2 Elements, then the Two Gods
Structure is formed. There are 2 types of Two Gods Structure – the direct opposing element
which is known as the Dueling Gods Structure and the direct supportive element which is
