GNSS antenna automatically provides three levels of accuracy A performant GNSS antenna connected to a dual frequency receiver system supports the following GNSS constellations: GPS, Glonass, Galileo and Beidou. The GNSS receivers automatically provides three level of accuracy: • ~ 1-2 cm RTK – Real Time Kinematics • By far the most accurate and reliable method to achieve precision of position. • ~5-10 cm L-Band (RTX). In case of absence of a base station needed to receive the differential corrections, the antenna is equipped with the right options needed to receive CenterPoint RTX corrections by Trimble air navigation aid systems. • After an initialization time which varies between 30 and 5 minutes (depending on location), the antenna provides an excellent level of accuracy. • ~70 cm SBAS. Using corrections provided by air navigation aid systems such as WAAS, EGNOS, GAGAN and MSAS. • Given the high accuracy required for carrying out a good survey, this mode does not provide enough precision of position and it is rarely used. Professional tablets and software are not necessary, BALI works using any device with its built-in program Hydrographic Software • BALI integrates up to 6 Hz NMEA data and therefore is compatible with any software which supports NMEA protocol. Some renown software package on the market are: Qinsy, HYPACK etc. • In most cases, operators use their IPhone or tablets by simply connecting via Wi-Fi and opening the mobile-responsive web- based application which comes with BALI.
