Our Mission Strengthening Families and Communities Protecting and Enhancing the Environment Fostering Economic Development Promoting Sustainable Agriculture Dear Friends, This year was marked by unprecedented events and it was like no other. For non-profits, like Cornell Cooperative Extension of Suffolk County, it stretched resources and put “pivot” in the daily vocabulary. We had to rethink our programs and outreach to the community while supporting our staff as they dealt with Board of Directors 2021 their own struggles through the pandemic. President - Mark Cisz In our review, we did not and will not dwell on the negatives of the year, but rather will look to the Vice President - John Lehner positive. 2020 gave us an opportunity to grow and to strategize. We collaborated with industry leaders to provide them timely information on relevant issues, as they learned to adapt to the new normal.
