Dear Yukoners, The past year has been challenging for Yukoners. Many of us have been forced to put our lives and businesses on hold. Our livelihoods have been harmed, and we have had to cancel or postpone many important events. While some relief has been offered, it has often been complex and bureaucratic; focused on the convenience of government rather than the requirements of families and business owners. Yukoners are frustrated by convoluted solutions to straightforward problems. Over the past five years, Yukoners have grown tired of being probed and studied and then waiting months or years for the government to produce a laundry-list of problems, instead of simply being helped. Lengthy consultant reports that sit on shelves with no possibility of meaningful action do nothing to improve the day-to-day lives of Yukoners. As we move into brighter days, a Yukon Party government will take Action for a Change.
