Major Selection Exercise (MSE) ▰ Every student must have a major by the end of the 3rd regular term ▻ Senior year entry students (e.g. admitted through Associate Degree or Higher Diploma) must have a major by the end of the 2nd regular term. ▰ Choosing an additional major is optional. ▰ Application for Spring MSE: Apr 1 – Apr 26, 2019 You CANNOT decline an offer. Don’t include any major that you don’t want in your program choices. Late application will NOT be accepted. 5
Important Notes for 2018 – 19 Entry Students ▰ All students, whether admitted to School (SBA) or to Program (PBA) upon admission, can join MSE to declare or change your major. However, once you have received a major offer through MSE, you cannot join MSE again. ▰ PBA students must give up your major quota once you submit your application. Think carefully before you apply. ▻ If no offer is received, you will be placed in the Business and Management Program and can join MSE again in the subsequent term(s) until the end of the 3rd term. ▰ Senior year entry students (e.g. admitted through Associate Degree or Higher Diploma) or PBA students admitted to ECOF and QFIN can join MSE in the first two terms. ▰ SBA students or PBA students admitted to BBA programs can join MSE in the first three terms. ▰ Students will be assigned BBA General Business Management (GBM) if receiving no major offer by two terms for senior year entry students or by three terms for all other students. 6
