Programs • Senior’s Information We provide information needed to provide support and comfort for seniors in our Meals on Wheels community. This is a volunteer based community service that provides a balanced meal available to individuals who are aged, ill, disabled, or who are convalescent. • Senior’s Assistance Programs We assist seniors with the completion of applications and sending information to Snow Angels Alberta Seniors Financial Assistance. A campaign designed to encourage Town of St. Paul residents to be good neighbors and help those in need by shoveling community members walkways who can’t shovel themselves Programs includes: Alberta Seniors Benefits/ Special Needs Assistance for Seniors/Dental & after a snowfall. Optical Assistance for Seniors / Seniors Property Tax/ Seniors Home Adaptation and Repair Program Babysitting & Home Alone Courses The Babysitting course is designed to teach responsible adolescents skills like: responsibil- ity of a baby sitter, safety tips for children of all ages, feeding and diapering babies, basic child care skills, and emergency intervention skills. Our Home alone offers necessary skills needed to safely, stay home alone. Neighborhood Block Party This event empowers community members to develop interpersonal group skills that enhances constructive relationships among people. FCSS provides subsidy for community members to host their own in their neighborhood. Camp Sunshine Camp Sunshine is a bereavement day camp for children who have experienced the death of a significant person in their lives. It is a fun and safe place for children from ages 7-12 to explore their grief and learn skills to help them cope in their daily lives.
