Swimsuit Model Women Only Junior, Open & Masters The FAME Swimsuit Model Category is designed for attractive, healthy, vibrant females who exude confidence and a great body! Models do not need to be muscular nor extremely defined for this category although they should still be in shape and have good tone. There is no routine component and only 1 round of competition. There is no specific percentage of body fat or musculature that is ideal for this category, rather it's what best suits that athlete best. Competitors should display a toned “beach” physique with symmetrical upper and lower body development. No excessive muscularity or conditioning. Physique should be lean without excessive body fat, but should not display significant muscle size, separation or striation. Abdominal definition is alright but a ripped "six pack" is not ideal for this division. General rule is that you should be in shape and appear 'great' in a swimsuit! Overall, judges are looking for a shapely physique; good posture and symmetry; confidence, charisma and exceptional style on stage; ability to pose in interesting, photographable ways; lean body composition; great stage presence; and an attractive, healthy, vibrant look that could be realistically marketable in the industry. Models should seem comfortable and relaxed and look like they are having a great time! They should show personality and appear as though they enjoy being in the spotlight. Bi ki ni Round: (100%) Models select their own suit for this round. They should pay attention to styles, colors, patterns and fits that flatter and accentuate their fit body - and perhaps hide any flaws. Standard Outfits for FAME Beauty include high heels and a 2-piece swimsuit (something that would look great on the beach) that best displays their physique and body symmetry. Competitors should adopt a relaxed stance in this division. Stay tight and maintain good posture, but do not appear as though you are flexing. Fitness Model Men & Women Junior, Open & Masters The FAME Fitness Model Category is designed for attractive, healthy, vibrant Men & Wo men who exude confidence and a toned & fit body! Models need to have some muscularity and definition. There is no routine component and 2 rounds of competition. • Swimsuit Round Athletes take their turn to walk across the stage individually and strike their personal style pose in 3 (three) predetermined locations (left, center, right). Athletes are welcome to be creative and infuse their walk and turns with personality and flair.
Fitness Model (Continued) This round continues with all athletes being directed to come forward as a group and perform a series of 4 (four) quarter turns to the right. There will likely also be some shuffling of positions should that be necessary for the judges. During the group comparisons, athletes should be able to maintain each pose while the judges are making their assessments. Maintaining and executing the poses should appear fluid and effortless. *A group POSE-OFF generally follows the mandatory call outs. At this time all models are expected to rush to pose-off for the awaiting cameras and fans. Of course, although it's a really fun moment, the judges are still judging and are actually looking for those who seem to be in their element. • Theme Round: Athletes can choose to showcase their body as the beautiful art that it is, and/or they can assume the role of an actor and/or performer to entertain and/or inspire. Some may opt to convey a message that is near and dear to the heart, while others may see the stage as a perfect way to grow past fears and insecurities as part of their body proud journey to personal growth. Then there are also those who wish to build their brand and/or their business. For these athletes, the routine round acts as an actual "audition recruitment ground" that provides a unique opportunity to earn the respect of potential sponsors, clients, and/or scouts. Athletes have 30 seconds to model their theme, personality, and costume or outfit selection. During that time, the stage is theirs to captivate, wow, entertain, and/or strike some poses for the camera. As this is still a Physique Sporting event, models should choose outfits that will allow their physique to still be visible. Tear-aways, form fitting clothing, etc are acceptable.
