A NOTE FROM THE OWNERS Welcome to Suite 811! We have lived in Art Condos since we moved to Toronto in 2014, first as tenants and then as owners - that’s how much we love it here! Art Condos is a boutique building which has been fantastically maintained and has a high ratio of owner occupants; this means that the majority of residents are invested in the livability and enduring quality of our shared home! The strong sense of community and the pride of ownership were very important to us - as I’m sure it will be to you too! Our unit offers an incredible skyline view of downtown Toronto, thanks in large part to the stunning floor-to-ceiling windows. Our suite faces East, so we get to enjoy the sunrise, as well as the gorgeous golden glow the sun casts on the high-rises as it sets. To the North, you can see the beautiful tree-lined streets of Little Portugal, while Lake Ontario lies along the horizon to the South. There’s even a view of the CN Tower from the master bedroom - our favourite view of all! We’ve really enjoyed the Juliet balconies over the years, especially in the Spring and Summer when they usher in warm breezes that circulate through the space! When we first saw the suite, the second bedroom was set up comfortable with a Queen-size bed, however, we’ve found better use for the space as a library; we set up a desk for two that allows us to work from home, as well as a lovely day bed (which unfolds into a King when we have guests staying with us). After all, the smartly designed and thoughtfully laid out units in this building offer a ton of space and storage; we have never filled all the cupbouards or the impressively large bathroom mirror cabinets in spite of our large collection of products! One of the reasons we love Art is that we are close to every day-to-day amenity we need, but are still situated in what feels like a very residential part of Toronto. Living in a condominium offers many perks (there’s so much to do here without even leaving the building), but one of our favourite past times is walking the surrounding streets and admiring the dreamy old Victorians and impeccably maintained landscaping; this unique neighbourhood offers a welcome amount of serenity and ‘green’ while still being very much in the heart of downtown. A perfect afternoon for us? Strolling along Queen Street West, perusing the shops, grabbing some ice cream at Bang Bang (before the line wraps around the block!), or meandering through Trinity Bellwoods Park. While our unit has parking, we often walk — whether to Dundas, Queen West, King West, or Liberty Village! If we choose to skip the myriad of transit offerings practically at our doorstep, it’s only 30 minutes to Yonge street on foot! Living here allows us the privacy and peace of a residential address but offers the connectedness and amenities of living in a bustling city centre!
