Home Tour Willo Photo Book & Home Tour Booth BY E D I TO R I A L T E A M ON JANUARY 23RD, THE EDITORS of The Willo Historic Neighborhood: Architecture & History held a launch party at the home of Diana Herman for those who had pre-purchased books and local dignitaries. Perhaps buoyed by cake and champagne, many additional copies were sold! ON FEBRUARY 22ND, HUNDREDS of visitors visited the Willo Photo Book booth at the 2022 Willo Home Tour. Author Jon Talton joined us to sign books. We sold the last available copies of the book, many to visitors who do not live in Willo… We have now sold out of 300 copies! Amazing photographs. People love the book. Everyone is raving about the book-so thankful for the amazing work. —BOB CANNON

Inside Kids Club HISTORIC NEIGHBORHOOD Willo Kids Club BY VA L E R I E L A N E ( L E W I S) WE HAD AN EXCELLENT TURNOUT for the Kids Club Snow Event on January 29th. We had 10 tons of snow trucked into Lewis Park, including a snow slide for sledding. We also had a visit from the firemen of Phoenix Fire Station #4; not only did they come to our event, but they opened their trucks and let the kids go inside and explore! Thank you! ◆ We look forward to our upcoming Easter/ Earth Day event, which will take place on April 16th at 4:00 (place TBD).
