COLLEGE OF OSTEOPATHIC MEDICINE The gown worn by a master has long, closed, somewhat fuller sleeves, which reach nearly to the wearer’s knees. The arms go through slits at the elbow, giving the appearance of short sleeves. Kelley, M.S. has been associated with the University of New England and the College of Osteopathic Hwyda A. Arafat, M.D., Ph.D., M.Sc. M.Ed.L., Department of Biomedical Sciences Faculty Medicine (COM) for over forty years. Arriving on campus in the early years of COM, she served as coordinator of medical financial aid, assistant dean of students, and eventually associate dean of Recruitment, Student and WELCOME Alumni Services for the College of Osteopathic Medicine. Karen T. Pardue, Ph.D., RN, CNE, FNAP, ANEF, Provost, University of New England Kelley has been involved with the American Association of Colleges of Osteopathic Medicine (AACOM) via the Diversity Committee, the Council of Osteopathic Medicine Admissions Officers, and the Section of Student OPENING REMARKS Services Officers, where she served as chair.
