FROM THE CEO
Welcome to the Essendon Football Club’s Events & Hospitality program for 2022.
This will be a year like no other as we celebrate our 150th anniversary, along with the return of
crowds to stadiums and events.
We continue with a host of marquee games in 2022, including Round 1 - Geelong (Powercor
Country Festival), Round 6 – Collingwood (Anzac Day), Round 8 – Hawthorn, Round 10 – Richmond
(Dreamtime) and in Round 13 we will celebrate our 150th year against Carlton at the MCG.
The 150-year celebrations will include a host of unique events, celebrating the history of the club and
those who have a made an important contribution to its fabric.
These events will include our Hall of Fame (Inductees - Dustin Fletcher, Neale Daniher, Gavin Wangaeen and the
late Dr Bruce Reid), 150th Year Gala Dinner, four-part 150th year dinner series and several more key events as we
celebrate this important year.
After two years disturbance due to the pandemic, our loyal hospitality and coterie members will be treated to an array
of premium match day functions featuring many of club greats and special moments throughout 2022.
We understand the AFL’s need for the floating fixture from round 10 onwards, and we will continue to provide our
members the required communication relating to these games as information comes to hand next year.
Finally, in an age where networking has never become so important, we also welcome
the opportunity for our business and corporate community to re-engage with each other
with our EFC Network program.

The ANZAC Day Brunch at Crown Palladium is an absolute must attend for anyone
wishing to embrace the full experience and traditions of ANZAC Day.
