Frankston, CHASE is on a
spiritual journey to reclaim her
cultural heritage. Compelling,
repelling, and disarmingly funny, join her
as she sifts through the weeds of modern
culture with a handy cam and her 33 Duration 70 minutes, no interval

Carly Sheppard has been developing Direction & Dramaturgy by Kamarra Bell-Wykes

winning character of CHASE for nearly
a decade. A macro metaphor of our
colonial shame, she is equally offensive
to theatregoers from every walk of life.
But therein lies her power to spark

a skit to a one-woman show, CHASE’s
role as a mirror back to Australia remains
