like you’re already on holiday!
For the past 45 years, our family has been welcoming guests to enjoy their dream holidays at Esterel Caravaning.
Founded by my parents, Jean et Jacqueline Laroche, in 1976, the campsite has seen significant changes over the
years. Since I took the helm 25 years ago, the site has become one of the jewels of the French Riviera and Europe.
Voted «Superplatz» by the German ADAC for several years & «Top Camping» by the Dutch ANWB, we also received the
coveted «DCC Europa Preis Platinum» award back in 2019. This award recognises the Best European Campsite of the
year in terms of the quality of our amenities & infrastructures. As we strive to continually meet your expectations, my
team and I spend each & every year coming up with new innovative ideas to improve your next holiday.

Today, Esterel Caravaning embodies the hot new trend known as «Glamping», a marriage between camping &
glamour. As such, every year, we upgrade our range of pitches so they always offer more space & comfort. From 80 to
200 sq meters (861 to 2153 sq ft), with free on-site Wi-Fi, the Esterel Caravaning pitches can accommodate all sorts of
Caravans & Camper-Vans, regardless of size. We also accommodate Motor-Homes & RVs!
From our standard pitches all the way up to the most luxurious, Esterel Caravaning offers a wide range of amenities,
some of which are unique to us and cannot be found anywhere else in Europe:

- OPTION : We recommend that you put down an option either by phone or by e-mail. You can also book via our website : www.
esterel-caravaning.co.uk This option will be valid for 10 days. If we have not received your booking form along with your deposit
within the 10 day period, your option will automatically be cancelled.
- RESERVATION : Your reservation is nominative and can not be transferred to another person. Upon receipt of your completed form,
accompanied by the deposit (€180) and reservation fee (€40 & non-refundable) paid either by credit/debit card or bank
transfer, you will receive a written confirmation along with your allocated pitch number.
Your high season stay, from July 11th to August 22nd 2021, is strictly on a week to week basis from Sunday to the following Sunday.
- CHANGE OF DATES : Should you wish to change your booking dates, full payment for the dates originally specified on the contract
will still be required.
Terms & Conditions of Rental Contract
1 - The number of the hired pitch will be determined once you have received the receipt for your deposit payment, which also
confirms your reservation dates thus creating a final & definitive contract of hire.
2 - Cancellation insurance: We recommend that you purchase an optional cancellation insurance policy.
-This policy amounts to €20 per stay and should cover the entirety of your stay. This insurance policy can only be taken out once the
initial reservation is made. The amount due for the insurance should be paid alongside the initial down payment. -The insurance
will only be paid out if you notify the campsite of your cancellation by registered mail together with the relevant (official) written
statements and/or documents within 3 days after the event that have given rise to the cancellation.
-The insurance will only pay out (the deposit paid minus the booking fee and the cancellation insurance) if the required
notification is given between the date of reservation and prior to check-in on the first day of the booking. -The following items are
covered: *Death, a serious accident with bodily harm or a serious sickness of yourself or next
of kin. *Dismissal by your employer or that of your spouse or partner. *A transfer movement within your employer’s organisation.
*Damage to your house as a result of fire, burglary, vandalism, extreme weather conditions or natural disasters.
-The insurance will only pay out if one of the above events happens before your stay begins and not during your stay.
3 - The hirer is required to take possession of his booked pitch by the date as stated overleaf. The contract will be void if the hirer
does not check in and occupy the pitch 24 hours after the start of his/her reservation period. Thereafter the contract will be
deemed
cancelled. In this case, the deposit paid will be withheld and full letting rights of the concerned pitch will be reverted back to the
owner. Esterel Caravaning will be in the position to rent the pitch immediately. A deposit is required on arrival for the ‘Imperial’,
‘Deluxe Prestige’,‘Luxe’, ‘Palace de Luxe’ & ‘Confort’ pitches. This deposit will be returned on departure, after reception of the key
and after the departure ‘check-out’ for pitch/equipment cleanliness.
The pitch rentals with Jacuzzi (Palace de Luxe, Royal Maxi & Imperial) must be rented for a minimum of 4 nights.
4 - If on arrival the hirer wishes to change the allocated pitch for a different one, this will be subject to availability and will only be
granted after consulting the camp-site management.
5 - The pitch amenities consist of 16 or 32 Amp electrical power outlets, water, drainage systems and of course, communal toilets
and shower blocks. The Luxe pitches and Palace de Luxe pitch have private toilets, wash basins and shower facilities with hot water,
electrical power outlets, a waste water outlet and heaters.
6 - The prices are set out at the beginning of the season and include water, electricity, swimming pools, free games and activities,
except for mountain bike rentals.
7 - During peak season, the hiring period for the pitch is from Sunday to Sunday. The price for 2 people is per week. You will be
billed for the dates booked and you must pay the full amount remaining on your balance for your stay upon arrival.
8 - BARBECUES AND ANY OTHER FORM OF OUTSIDE COOKING WITH FLAMES ARE STRICTLY FORBIDDEN.
9 - Maximum of 6 people per pitch : For safety and comfort reasons, the number of persons per pitch is limited to 6. Pets are
permitted,
however please notify us in advance if you wish to bring one with you. Dogs should be permanently held on a leash.
10 - The hirer and his family must respect and abide by all camp-site rules noted both in the information book given upon arrival as
well as on the notice board outside reception.
11 - The Wi-Fi is free of charge however Esterel Caravaning cannot be held responsible for the network reliability or the connection
speed.
12 - As per French hygiene regulations : All forms of Board shorts, swimming shorts and all other types of shorts are strictly forbidden
inside the swimming pool.
13- MEDIATOR: In case of a dispute and after contacting the company’s «customer» services department, any camp-site customer
has the ability to contact a consumption ombudsman, within a period of one year from the date of the written complaint,
by recorded delivery, to the owner. The coordinates of the mediator susceptible of being used by the customer, are: CMAP
