WA Primary Health Alliance has partnered with My Community Directory to support the creation of the Pilbara Community and Health Services Directory. About WA Primary Health Alliance (WAPHA) WA Primary Health Alliance shapes, strengthens and sustains a health system that works for people. Our role is to simplify and increase access to primary health care by planning, guiding and directing investment towards important primary healthcare services. We listen to local communities to understand who they are, their unique health needs, and how their world is changing. We do this as the operator of the state’s three Primary Health Networks – Perth North, Perth South and Country WA. By partnering with local communities, service providers, GPs and allied health professionals, we work to deliver better health, together. About this Directory WA Primary Health Alliance recognises how important it is for service providers and community members to know what services are available to them in their communities. It is often hard to know where to look for this information or be able to find it all in one place. We believe it is important to help people stay well in their community by connecting them to local services and support. We also think it’s important to link people to the things that keep them physically and mentally well – including social groups, sports facilities and GP practices. This online Directory is free to add listings to, free to update and free to use. This printable version updates each night from the online directory and is free to download for each region in Western Australia. We encourage you to use the features of the online directory to add services, suggest new entries or report anything that is incorrect. My Community Directory works because it is a shared resource that will increase in value as we all contribute to, and use it. Visit www.wapha.org.au to find out more about WA Primary Health Alliance and how you can contribute to My Community Directory.
