Cheshire Treasures - Salt, Soap & Silk 5 days A fascinating short break based in and around Cheshire. Here you can enjoy some of the marvels that made Britain great. Experience the powerful emotions of the Battle of Culloden in the visitor centre’s 360-degree battle immersion theatre, which puts you right in the heart of the action. Discover the true story of the 1745 Rising, from both the Jacobite and Government perspectives, in the accredited museum, where unique artefacts from the time are displayed. We continue via Grantown on Spey, Glenlivet and Tomintoul in to the heart of the Cairngorms passing the Lecht Ski Centre. In the afternoon we drop down to the beautiful Royal Deeside and travel via Balmoral to Braemar and on to Pitlochry.
