2020 FISU WORLD UNIVERSITY SHOOTING SPORT CHAMPIONSHIP PILSEN, CZECH REPUBLIC, September 9-13, 2020 The Czech University Sports Association (CUSA) and General International University Sports Federation (FISU) are Information delighted to welcome athletes, officials and guests to the FISU World University Shooting Sport Championship in Pilsen, Czech Republic from September 9th to 13th, 2020. ACCREDITATION REGISTRATION Accreditation For registration follow the link bellow: accreditation.fisu.net/WUC-SH-08/Pages/Home.aspx Deadlines March 8, 2020 General Entry Form June 8, 2020 - Quantitative Entry Form, - Deposit Payment 25%, - Firearm & Ammunition Form August 8, 2020 Individual Entry Form Participation Fee The competing countries, upon arrival, shall pay their dues for Participation Fee participation fees 70 EUR per night and per person to the Organising Committee. For each member of the delegation the fee amounts to 70 EUR per day. Deposits of 25% of the participation fee have to be done till June 8, 2020, and the rest must be paid upon arrival. Deposit has to be paid by the bank transfer. Fees may be paid in cash (Euro only) or by credit card at the venue. Each delegation must have insurance for all members of its team. This must cover life insurance, medical insurance, public liability, property and travel insurance. TRANSPORTATION The official WUC airport is Vaclav Havel Airport Prague (PRG). Transportation Another arrival/departure points are Main Train Station in Pilsen and Central Bus Station in Pilsen. The Organising Committee will provide for all participants of the WUC free transportation to/from the Prague Airport and the hotel as well as connections between the competition venue, ceremonies and hotels by buses and minibuses. PUBLIC TRANSPORT Pilsen is very well connected by a net of bus, tram and trolleybus lines, operated by PMDP. TRAVEL PLAN All the teams, participants and officials shall arrange their itineraries Travel Plan to arrive in Pilsen or Prague Airport, and it also applies to departure. If you travel by plane, please notify the Organizing Committee in advance, as to their arrival dates, times, and flight schedules, so that transportation arrangement can be made both to and from the Prague Airport. There is also a possibility to come to Pilsen by train, bus or by car. The parking place is available at the Hotels and as well at the Shooting Range. ACCOMMODATION During the FISU 2020 World University Shooting Sport Championship athletes, officials and referees will stay at hotels in the city of Pilsen. COMPETITION VENUE, SPORT FACILITIES SHOOTING RANGE AND SHOTGUN RANGES PILSEN-LOBZY Competition and practice venue are at the same place Shooting Range and Venue Shotgun Ranges Pilsen-Lobzy. The OC guarantee the top-quality of all Shooting and Shotgun Ranges including the Final Hall. The FISU Minimum requirements and ISSF Regulations is respected. Shotgun Ammunition for sale OC will provide the Shotgun Ammunition for sale to the participating Ammunition teams at the designated area within the venue during the competition and training period. The brand and price of the Ammunition will be announced later on. Official training and Competition, will be free of charge. Unofficial training price will be: 1 Round 25 Targets for 6 EUR. IMMIGRATION AND CUSTOMS PROCEDURES All information about the visa procedure is available on the official Procedures website of the Ministry of Foreign Affair: www.mzv.cz. The OC will assist in needed with the procedure, especially with weapons transporting. The OC will presume to assist to all participants at the Vaclav Havel International Prague Airport and help with the custom formalities. The Czech Embassy in the participating countries will be informed about the date and place of the WUC 2020. Medical assistance The Organizing Committee provide First Aid at the Shooting Range. The Health and Security Czech Shooting Federation doctor will be present at the Shooting Range during the trainings and competitions. The closest clinic hospital care is Lochotín Hospital – 1,5km and Bory Hospital – 2km. Participants must have own insurance! All information about the specific health and vaccination rules are available on the official website of the Ministry of Foreign Affair: www.mzv.cz or on the official website of the Ministry of Health of the Czech Republic: www.mzcr.cz Security system Only one entrance at the Shooting Range. Full access to the Shooting Range area for participants and audience. Security system at the hotels. Anti-doping control The doping control will be provided according to the FISU standards, in partnership with the Czech Antidoping Agency. It will be located in a specific room at the Shooting Range venue. 7
Cultural and Volunteer Program During the event will be organised city sightseeing tour and other Cultural Program activities and events to introduce the local culture, products, history and the university life. At the competition venue and all the will be present our volunteers. WUC SUPPORT The organizer of the 8th FISU World University Shooting Sport WUC support Championship is the Czech University Sports Association. Guarantor of the shooting part is the Czech Shooting Sport Federation. This Championship is supported by West Bohemia University of Pilsen, Ministry of Education, Sports and youth of the Czech Republic, Pilsen City and Pilsen Region, The Czech University Technical Sport Association. 8
