About the PSPA The Pennsylvania Society of Physician Assistants (PSPA) was established in 1976. As a growing nonprofit organization, the PSPA strives to be representative of all physician assistants within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. The goals and objectives of the Society are to enhance quality medical care to the people of Pennsylvania through a process of continuing medical education, both to the membership and to the public; to provide loyal and honest service to the public and to the medical profession; to promote professionalism among its membership; and to promote understanding of the PA profession. CME Conference 2018 Hotel Information Dates: October 17-20, 2018, Exhibiting Dates: October 18-19, 2018 Location: Kalahari Resorts and Convention Center, 250 Kalahari Blvd., Pocono Manor, PA 18349 Kalahari Resort and Convention Center in the Pocono Mountains delivers a “world-away” waterpark resort and conference experience beyond expectations. The authentically African themed Kalahari Resort is home to America’s largest indoor waterpark. Check out www.kalahariresorts.com/pennsylvania. Plan to have your family join you as 4 waterpark passes come with each sleeping room reservation. The room rate is $138 plus $12.42 for current local taxes per night for single/double/triple/ quad rooms. Hotel room rates are subject to applicable state and local taxes at the time of check-in. The resort fee has been waived and the room reservation includes 4 passes to the waterpark. The room block will close on Saturday, September 22, 2018 or when the room block is full whichever occurs first. To access the hotel’s PSPA room block reservation web page, go to pspa.net/events/annual- conference/hotel-information/ and use group booking ID 343. The hotel recommends using Chrome browser for best results. Reservations may also be made by calling the hotel at (570) 580-6000. Be sure to reference the PSPA room block and note any special request. Rooms are reserved Run-of-House which include two queen beds based upon the number of guest sharing the room to a maximum of four people. Rooms with two queen beds may also be available with a sofa bed and have a base price for four people in the sleeping room. See description of room when selecting your dates. The hotel check-in time is 4:00 pm and check-out time is 11:00 am. The resort provides complimentary wi-fi throughout the hotel and complimentary parking. Deposit and Cancellation Policy for Individual Reservations Deposit policy for individual reservations: One night (plus tax) at the time the reservation is made. Cancellation policy for individual reservations: 72 hours or more, prior to arrival to receive full refund less $25.00 processing fee. Less than 72 hours prior to scheduled arrival forfeits entire deposit.
