Dear Delegates… Welcome to the Pre-Internship (PRINT) Conference 2018 for NSW-ACT! First of all, we’d like to congratulate you on making it through the tough slog that is medical school and finally earning that “Doctor” title! It feels unbelievable that in less than 2 months, all of you will be working as doctors, with a whole new burden of responsibility. Internship can be terrifying, and that’s understandable, because you’ll be facing a very steep learning curve in your first weeks and months. In a brand new position in the team and hospital, everything can - and does! - feel different. The Yvonne PRINT Conference this year specifically focuses on topics and skills that we - and other NSW-ACT pre- Nguyen interns - believe are the most useful and essential for internship. We have a packed program featuring amazing high profile speakers and experienced clinicians, who are more than eager to share their tips and experiences with you over the 2 days in inspiring talks and 6 highly interactive workshops. A massive thank you to the PRINT NSW-ACT team who have been working so hard to bring you a smashing conference, and to the University Representatives who have helped make sure the conference caters to you. Raymond We hope you enjoy the conference and we hope Shi that by the end of the 2 days, you walk away feeling that much more confident and prepared for internship! Congratulations again and welcome to #PRINT2018! 3
