First of all, we would like to say how fortunate and blessed we at Turner Sports Management have been to be able to represent clients of such high character and work ethic that we have had several players nominated over the years for the PRO BOWL ballot. Our clients have consistently beaten out other players who entered the NFL with much higher credentials and draft status in the beginning. But with the guidance and support of Turner Sports Management, our clients have achieved individual heights very few thought possible while they were in college. We are the only agency in the nation to have three players who were Undrafted and not invited to the Combine coming out of college who were chosen to the PRO BOWL for three consecutive years (`12, `13 & `14) and five of the last 6 years!!. We are so proud of Ryan Clark, selected following the 2011 & 2012 seasons, and Mike Tolbert, selected following the 2013, 2015 & 2016 (along with being named 1st Team All- Pro) and Patrick DiMarco following the 2015 (selected 1st Team All-Pro) & 2016 seasons. They have excelled in their craft and deserve the highest praise for their hard work and perseverance through so many circumstances in their careers!!! More than that, we are so proud of all these men for who they are off the field for being leaders on their teams, in their communities and for the way they live their lives on a daily basis as husbands and fathers within their own families!! Turner Sports Management CONTRACT NEGOTIATIONS National Football League 345 Park Avenue 1999 New York, NY 10154 July 1, 2018 Date _____________ Pay to the Turner Sports Management, LLC order of: __________________________________________________ $ 231,194,980 __________ Two-Hundred Thirty-One Million, One-Hundred Ninety-Four, Nine-Hundred Eight and 00/100’s _______________________________________________________________________ Veteran Free-Agency Contract Negotiations Memo _____________________________________ NOT A LEGAL CHECK :033021826: 1000020102018 ______________________________ SAMPLE ONLY – – We have negotiated more contracts since 2010 than almost any NFL agency in the nation (304). Our clients have enjoyed the benefit of being represented by some of the most skilled and respected agents in the entire industry as evidenced by not only our 20-years of being NFLPA certified, but in the relationships we have with NFL front office / management personnel and coaches throughout the League. We negotiated a staggering $211,194,980 for a mere 16 clients in Veteran Free Agency (Unrestricted and Restricted Free Agency) on 41 separate contracts that averaged over $12,000,000 per client! Moreover - of those 16 players - only 2 attended the Combine and only 4 were Drafted. We know talent as well as, if not better than anyone! We know how to get our clients paid better than most: as NINE of those contract negotiations resulted in our client either being the HIGHEST PAID PLAYER IN THE NFL at their position or were RECORD SETTING DEALS for our clients at their position and / or draft-entry position into the NFL. The single most important factor in choosing an agent has been demeaned and minimized over the last 10-15 years in this business by the ‘training’ industry - convincing college players that ‘combine training’ is the most important part of the agent selection process. Ask any NFL veteran and he will tell you that this is just simply not true. It is important, of course, to thoroughly prepare for the Combine and your Pro-Day. But, choosing an agent goes FAR beyond that into the two most important aspects of representation: ability to negotiate and keeping you in a job with his ability to sell your talent via relationships with the NFL teams. Without having an agent who is ‘connected’ and knows people across the board at every team, your chances are pretty slim of having an agent who can pick up the phone or send an email or text and get to the decision makers and people with influence within an organization. Teams won’t listen to someone they don't trust and won’t trust someone they don't know - well. And, once a player plays in the NFL at a high level and plays his way into an opportunity to garner a high-paying contract - a player better have an agent who has NEGOTIATED some BIG deals - if not the BIGGEST DEALS at a player’s respective position - just like we have time and again!
Turner Sports Management CONTRACT NEGOTIATIONS Since 2010, we have negotiated contracts for 97 clients, resulting in 306 total contracts signed with a total contract value of $479,750,327 (among the Top 10 of ALL agencies in the nation for that time period for all three categories). Our clients have earned $193,351,382 in real cash dollars on those deals. The numbers are simply tremendous. But considering of those 97 clients, that only 7 of them were invited to the Combine and 9 were Drafted, it shows we truly are among the very best at judging talent and representing our clients!! * RYAN SCHRAEDER, OT, ATLANTA FALCONS (Undrafted, No Combine Invite, from D2 Valdosta State University - GA) We helped advise and counsel Ryan all the way, choosing to send him to Atlanta as an Undrafted Rookie, helping guide him along the way to the 2nd biggest deal in the history of the NFL for a Right Tackle with a total value of $33,000,000 over 5 years for an average of $6,600,000 and made him the HIGHEST PAID RIGHT TACKLE IN THE NFL FOR THE 2017 SEASON AT SIGNING WITH A CASH SALARY OF $7,500,000 in the first year of the deal! * PATRICK DIMARCO, FB, BUFFALO BILLS (Undrafted, No Combine Invite, from the University of South Carolina) With our constant support and guidance along with his toughness and perseverance, Patrick was able to overcome a career-threatening injury and being cut 3 times to become one of the most respected and successful players in the NFL as he has garnered numerous team honors and been named both All-Pro and Pro-Bowl. We negotiated a 4-year, $8,400,000 deal ($4,200,000 Guaranteed at signing to tie Mike Tolbert’s deal for the most Guaranteed money at signing) that made Patrick not only the highest paid FB in the NFL for the 2017 season with $3,335,000 in fully guaranteed money, but also makes him the NFL’s highest paid true FullBack with a $2,100,000 annual salary! * COLE BEASLEY, WR, DALLAS COWBOYS (Undrafted, No Combine Invite, from Southern Methodist University) Our belief in Cole from Day1 helped him become one of the best players in the NFL, not only leading the Cowboys in WR catches for the last two seasons in 2015 & 2016, but also helped make him the highest paid player at his position for the 2015 season. We negotiated a $14,612,045 extension as a Restricted Free Agent for Beasley that averaged over $4,000,000 a year in new money - the most ever in the NFL for a RFA slot WR!! * RON PARKER, WR, KANSAS CITY CHIEFS (Undrafted, No Combine Invite, from D2 Newberry College - SC) Despite being cut an unthinkable 13! - that’s thirteen - times, we kept doing a great job for Ron by helping keep him on a contract each time he was cut - with the end result being the NFL’s biggest deal in history for a former Undrafted Safety with a 5-year, $30,000,000 deal! Parker was among the 10 highest paid Safeties in the NFL for the 2015 season at $6,350,000! * MIKE TOLBERT, FB, BUFFALO BILLS (Undrafted, No Combine Invite, from FCS Coastal Carolina University - SC) Mike has had more contract dollars negotiated for him than ANY FULLBACK in NFL history at over $18,000,000 in his career! With his 2012 deal at the Carolina Panthers earning him $2,512,500 a year for 4-years ($10,050,000), it made him the #2 paid FB in the NFL on Average Per Year at signing. However, as he played out his entire contract, he was the NFL’s HIGHEST PAID FULLBACK from 2012-2016 in cash money earned at a total of $11,900,000 (with $12,100,000 in negotiated contract dollars). * RYAN CLARK, FS, PITTSBURGH STEELERS & WASHINGTON REDSKINS (Undrafted, No Combine Invite, from LSU) Ryan broke the mold for undrafted Safeties in the NFL, not only by playing an astounding 13-seasons, but also by being the NFL’s highest paid former undrafted Free Safety - TWICE! We negotiated over $23,000,000 in earnings for Ryan Clark, including a 4-year $14,000,000 with the Steelers in 2010 - raising the bar from his first 4-year, $7,000,000 deal in 2006! No former Undrafted Safety has ever earned more money than Ryan Clark! These players, along with Place Kicker Ryan Succop (not pictured on this page) have had a total of $169,220,184 in earned cash negotiated for them in their careers - and only Succop was Drafted.
