LET THE STATS TELL OUR CINDERELLA STORY The Greater Orlando Sports Commission (GO Sports) is a private, non-profit organization that plays a vital role in attracting and managing sports-related events, conferences and activities that drive economic development in the City of Orlando, Orange County, Seminole County, Osceola County and Lake County. The greater Orlando region is the world’s vacation destination, with 75 million visitors from every corner of the world last year. Hosting is a common thread that connects our community: government officials, visitors’ bureaus, corporate partners, media outlets, marketing and event planners, vast array of hospitality providers and an extensive network of volunteers. 8 FULL-TIME Founded in 1993, GO Sports has hosted or co-hosted more than 1,400 events in greater Orlando with a total economic impact exceeding $1.78 billion in PROFESSIONALS GREATER ORLANDO spending within our community.
