Have a community project or initiative you would like to get off the ground? Our grants program is closing soon. Since its inception in 2016, the grants program, which is administered by Bendigo Bank’s Community Enterprise Foundation, has provided funding of close to $79,000 across 19 different local initiatives. This grant round has a further $15,000 on offer, which will be spread across five $3000 grants. Spring Mountain State School cultural workshop – Art reveal! Following up from the story in our summer community newsletter, we are pleased to share the work of First Nations artist, Libby Harward and Spring Mountain State School students with you below and on our front cover! In case you missed it, in November, students took part in an art workshop where they learnt about the Indigenous history of White Rock - Spring Mountain Conservation Estate and the First Nations People’s traditional custodianship of the land. We’re thrilled with the results and are excited to display the art in the community!
