Callum Gough Hi I’m Callum! I’m going into second year on the Audio Production course. I am one of your two events and charities coordinator alongside John Boswell. We have a simple plan for this year, and that’s to do all in our power to make up for what we lost due to Covid-19. For me, my life revolves around music. Whether being live or recorded, heavy or soft. It doesn’t matter to me. I’m always up for a chat, on campus or at Costa (or at the pub…). Any issues you may have, personal or academic, I am happy to help, or I can point you in the right direction for someone that can. Always feel free to drop me a message or find me on campus. With restrictions easing and life beginning to feel normal once again we have a whole host of events planned to bring the Rose Bruford community together. Personally, I’ll be bringing music to Bruford full force, and I hope you enjoy the events that we will be putting on to make that happen. On the charity side of things there are 3 that I wish to fundraise for: Mind UK, Teddy 20 and Help Musicians. This next year is going to be a special one, I look forward to seeing you all again (or meeting you if you are joining). Let’s make this a year for the Bruford history books. Emily/Chase Hembrow Hello all! I’m Em/Chase (she/they) and I am your School of Performance officer for this year! I am a second year ETA and a massive MT nerd! I want to help make Rose Bruford a safer and more enjoyable space for students. It is important to me to promote an inclusive working environment representative of all genders, LGBTQ+, neurodivergence, disability and DICE performers. I want to promote more opportunities for projects that involve and celebrate neurodivergence and disability, as well as a greater celebration of the cultures within the school. I want to improve communication between students, tutors and the school as a whole. And I want to improve how classes and plays are approached in regard to mental health, especially in relation to the aspects of class that can trigger people. You can approach me or email me with any suggestions or enquiries on how we can improve the school of performance, or with anything you would like addressed in student union meetings. Can’t wait to work with you all!
