Waterlines, End of the Year 2020 2020 Cruisers of the Year Nancy & Howard Crisp, Amagi For 2020 the result of the Cruisers’ fleet vote awarded the Cruiser of the Year Award to Nancy and Howard Crisp. Waterlines, End of the Year 2020 2020 Crew Member Of The Year Jeff Cockfield In 1997, Keith Forton became the first Crew Member of the Year winner when named by the Boat of the Year Skipper, Past Commodore Wesson Shultz. This new tradiHon would lead to much of the crew of Past Commodore Wipperman receiving the award over the next decade. Which may be why the award took a hiatus, as he ran out of crew to recognize. The hiatus for this award seemed to last unHl a properly lubricated Boat of the Year skipper reminded us of this privilege and declared such a legend in our club be named. This year, since the Governor has banned proper adult lubricaHon at the club, and the Boat of the Year Award Winner is just reading about his winning Boat of the Year, as Commodore I am declaring Jeff Cockfield as Crew Member of the Year. Jerry and Jeff’s work in shoring up our parking lot and addressing the drainage challenges of high-water levels earned consideraHon for the Commodore's Award. Skippers rely on crew members to keep them out of trouble ON the water, and Jeff made sure I didn't let the club get into trouble IN the water. You made sure we put down straight lines and kept us aware of our limitaHons. For that reason, Jeff, your name shall be forever etched in silver; assuming we find the award again.
