VILLAGE OF GREENDALE NEW RESIDENT GUIDE 2022
Welcome to the Village of Greendale! We are proud of our quaint, historical, and
unique community and the many opportunities it has to offer new residents. This
guide contains information on the most commonly asked topics for new residents to
help them get settled. If you have additional questions not found in this guide, please
                           contact Village Hall at 414-423-2100.

Getting Around: The Village is one of three government sponsored “Greenbelt”
GETTING AROUND GREENDALE

communities (click here for more information about the Village’s history). The green-
belt communities were built to be walkable so residents could walk to schools, shops
and parks. The Village has maintained this concept with an abundant walkway and
                           sidewalk system .

The Village is served by multiple transit lines with the Milwaukee County Transit
System. The Village is also connected to the Milwaukee County Oak Leaf Trail, which
provides opportunities for walking, running or biking.

                                                                      2
