All these exemplary and unprecedented efforts show generosity and earnestness of organizers to make this conference successful. The conference is likely to be attended by more than 7000 eminent orthopaedic surgeons of national and international repute to share their views and beliefs, their work and experiences during scientific sessions, workshops and CME. We would like to take a moment to thank all the registered delegates till date for their overwhelming response. On the social and cultural front, we can assure you of a very memorable experience. The blend of cool weather in the month of December and warm hospitality of Jaipur will make this event memorable for all the Participants. Message from President (Indian Orthopaedic Association) Dear Orthopaedic Surgeons & Friends, Greeting from IOA House, At the outset, I would like to thank all the members of Prestigious Indian Orthopaedic Association. My theme, this year is “Continue Learning to Serve the Society better”. Learning can be done by 3 ways : a) By reading books and journals, b) By attending workshops, c) By attending Conferences and Seminars. Education is received through hearing, reading, seeing and by practical experience. Self education is most important. Whatever you learn, learn well, both in theory and practical, even it takes time, it always compounds. Do not forget to pay attention to details. Whatever you do, you must have confidence. Confidence comes from knowledge and practical experience. Among all Specialities, Orthopaedic Surgeons enjoy premium position and rightfully so, if they progressively keep knowledge of current literature. You should improve your skills thereby you will improve the Orthopaedic Health of Society. Here is a great Opportunity for you to learn more and improve the Orthopaedic Health of Society. This year, there will be half day Session from American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons who will give lectures on Current Concepts in Orthopaedics. These are about 50 overseas faculty coming to IOACON at Jaipur and they will definitely talk on recent advances of different Orthopaedic subjects. The Indian faculty are great teachers and masters in their particular field who will deliver their best. For your practical experience, there are many Workshops on 9th and 10th of December 2015 at different venues at Jaipur. Hence, I request you to come all and attend the great Scientific deliberation at IOACON Jaipur with your family and friends and enjoy the hospitality of Rajasthan. Padhoro Mhare DESH. Thanks with regards, Yours Sincerely, Dr. H R Jhunjhunwala, President,IOA 2
