2 Welcome to UQ Open Day At Open Day you’ll find all the information you need about studying and life at UQ. Figuring out what you love and what you want to do are often the hardest decisions to make. Visit the UQ Centre and speak directly with staff about programs, courses and career options. This is your opportunity to ask as many questions as you want. Another great way to learn more about UQ is to attend information sessions. These are run throughout the day and are an excellent way to get both general information about studying at UQ, as well as more detailed program-specific information. Don’t forget that student life isn’t all about study, we want you to have fun too! Across UQ’s vibrant campuses you can immerse yourself in a range of sports, clubs and societies. Take the time to explore the campus, and if you haven’t been here before, consider a walking tour. If you’re not sure where you’ll live once you start university, why not take a bus tour of our on-campus accommodation. Tours depart every ten minutes from the Mill Road car park (map reference G6). OMC_104754 MAY16 Be sure to visit the Great Court. Here you can explore our Create Change Precinct and take part in interactive activities. Enjoy your UQ Open Day. If you miss anything, visit our website at uq.edu.au/futurestudents. You can also call our Future Students Contact Centre on (07) 3346 9872 or email us at ask@uq.edu.au We hope this is one of the first steps on your path to a successful future with us at UQ.
