Headteacher’s Update 17th January 2020 Work Experience: Join the NPL Academy Blood Brothers Trip The NPL Academy provides GCSE students with a real Y8s might be interested to know that Blood Brothers, taster of work at the UK's leading measurement which they've been studying in English and Drama, is on research laboratory. Headteacher’s Update Turing House School 17th January 2020 Chamber Group On Tuesday evening, the Chamber group were very lucky to be invited to the Holocaust Memorial event held at Hampton Boys School to perform with Raphael Wallfisch the world famous cellist. They spent an hour rehearsing with him and benefitting enormously from his advice and expertise. They then performed Bloch Prayer from Jewish Life with Raphael as the soloist which can only be described as spine tingling – what a sound! We are very grateful to Richmond Music Trust and Raphael Wallfisch for providing such a fantastic experience for our students. Comedy Night Hannah Loudain Careers Talk On Friday the 17th of January Hannah Loudain visited the Turing House School Hampton Site to give a talk about her career. Hannah is a manager at The AA, leading a large team of app and website designers and copywriters. She studied Biology, Chemistry, Psychology and French at A-level, and went on to complete a degree in Natural Sciences. Since graduating, she's worked in a variety of business and management roles, none of them with any direct connection to science! She ended her talk with four top tips which were: 1.
