Chamber Group
On Tuesday evening, the Chamber group were very
lucky to be invited to the Holocaust Memorial event
held at Hampton Boys School to perform with Raphael
Wallfisch the world famous cellist. They spent an hour
rehearsing with him and benefitting enormously from
his advice and expertise. They then performed Bloch
Prayer from Jewish Life with Raphael as the soloist
which can only be described as spine tingling – what a
sound! We are very grateful to Richmond Music Trust
and Raphael Wallfisch for providing such a fantastic
experience for our students.

Hannah Loudain Careers Talk
On Friday the 17th of January Hannah Loudain visited
the Turing House School Hampton Site to give a talk
about her career. Hannah is a manager at The AA,
leading a large team of app and website designers and
copywriters. She studied Biology, Chemistry,
Psychology and French at A-level, and went on to
complete a degree in Natural Sciences. Since
graduating, she's worked in a variety of business and
management roles, none of them with any direct
connection to science! She ended her talk with four top
tips which were:
