careers update! We are in the process of finalising UCAS applications with all of our students and would like to thank parents for their support with this. When the UCAS form is complete, students should be applying to colleges and sixth form centres. There is no limit to the number of applications a student can make, in fact we actively encourage students to make a large number so they have a range of offers from post-16 providers. The Careers Advisor will be back in school next week, after a break for the mock exams. All Year 11 students will have a one-to-one session with the advisor to help them better understand the post-16 options and the additional advice that is available. wwww.ckcareersonline.org.uk is a website run by Calderdale and Kirklees and is aimed at both students and parents. It contains advice on the post-16 options available such as apprenticeships, BTECs and A levels.
