Volume 02/2012 melak exTension On 20 September 2011, Thiess Indonesia was awarded a three-year extension and expansion to our current contract with PT Bayan Resources Tbk for works in Melak, East Kalimantan. The US$500 Million contract extension comes into effect on 01 January 2012, will see Thiess Indonesia operate at the Teguh Sinar Abadi (TSA) and Firman Ketaun Perkasa (FKP) Coal Mines through to December 2016. A new production target of 5 MT of coal and 70 MBCM of overburden per annum was set. We believe this contract extension confirms our ability to build and maintain long-term relationships with our clients. Our ability to deliver targets is a key factor of our success in forging successful partnerships.
