She spends her time working as a field veterinarian and as a specialist at the McGee Fertility Center. Karen attended veterinary school at the University of Florida and graduated in 1992. After completion of her DVM, she began an equine field service internship at North Carolina State University. In 1995, she completed a residency in Theriogenology at the University of Florida and became board certified in Theriogenology. In 1996, she joined Hagyard as an Associate and in 2002 became one of the first two female practice members. Before Hagyard Equine Medical Institute, Karen spent time working Dr Karen Wolfsdorf in Australia with Dr. Pascoe at Oakey Veterinary Hospital. DVM, DACT Karen has authored many chapters on equine reproduction and has lectured worldwide. She is also the Consulting Radiologist at Advanced Equine Imaging of Wellington. Her residency focussed on Diagnostic Imaging at Colorado State University and she gained her Diplomate with the American College of Veterinary Radiology. Natasha’s research focus is on clinical equine MRI, and diagnosis imaging, specifically musculoskeletal imaging with an emphasis on MRI and ultrasound.
