Professional Service Fee
This fee forms the basis of every package offering, covering the organising our team does to provide
the fitting service for you or your person. This fee includes transfers, mortuary storage and natural
mortuary care, a cardboard coffin or shroud and bearer, all the admin tasks we do for you including
legal documents, and our 24/7 help and support throughout the entire process of farewelling your
person.
Products
These are additional elements you choose, such as a specific coffin or casket separate to our basic
offering, urns, memorial cards, photo presentations, etc.
Disbursements
This refers to items and services provided by other businesses. The possibilities are endless, but
often include flowers, venue hire, livestream, crematorium fees and newspaper notices.
Understanding the expenses related to a service
The Last Hurrah team do all we can to ensure you’re crystal clear on exactly what you are paying
for. To this end, all pricing advertised and included in this document is inclusive of GST.
When some providers do not charge GST, we welcome you to pay them directly to avoid the
additional GST charged on our invoice.
PAYMENT
The Last Hurrah is a new microbusiness, and to stay afloat we require full payment of all fees prior to
any service or cremation taking place. Your prompt payment promptly avoids any awkward
discussions for all of us.
Payment Options
Credit Card (All accepted) – An additional 2% fee is charged for Credit Card Purchases
EFT – Details are noted on our invoice
Cheques – We do not accept cheques unless approved by TLH Management
Cash – Paid to TLH Management at least 24 hours prior to service
Prepaid Service – Lodged with Bendigo Bank/Australian Friendly Society directlyPACKAGES
ELEMENTALS $2300.00
This covers all our basic professional service fees and is the foundation of all our offerings. If you
chose to go the DIY route, this package will not apply and if individual components are requested
these will be charged accordingly.
It includes:
• A detailed telephone consultation to arrange things for your person and additional support
throughout the entire journey to farewelling your person
• Clear guidance and information about what to do when someone dies
• A beautiful plantation timber shroud bearer and natural calico shroud, which is by far the
most environmentally friendly option for disposition - timber lids also available; OR a
Daisybox cardboard coffin, which can be personalised
• Collection of your person anywhere in Melbourne metro area
• Expert and respectful natural mortuary care, including bathing, dressing and
enshrouding/encoffining; expert embalming is available if wanted/needed at an additional
fee
• Delivery to Crematorium (Eaglehawk Remembrance Park only; for other location a fee
applies)
• All legal and administrative paperwork including medical and death certificates
• A socials event and obit/funeral post online (optional)
• A $100 donation to our philanthropic fund for funeral care for artists or children in need (If
you do not have the means to pay this component can be waived)
• A native tree planted in honour of your person on a farm in rural Victoria
FULL FUNERAL SERVICE $6000.00
Includes Elementals
This option includes:
• An additional face to face meeting to discuss ceremony style, gather information about your
person, and plan all the elements of the day
• All funeral direction and logistical elements covered on the day, with an extra Last Hurrah
funeral director onsite to assist.
• Transport in our 1973 Cadillac Hearse for your person to the ceremony and then onto
disposition.
• A completely personal and uniquely crafted ceremony written and conducted by our co-
founder Kimba
• A professional PA system (suitable for up to 100 people)
• Venue set-up and styling assistance and advice on practical elements
• Assistance with music playlists and other personal elements
• Venue Hire is not included
• Cemetery Fees are not includedSIMPLE BURIAL (UNNATTENDED) $3180.00

• Simple unattended burial with Committal conducted by Kimba

funeral director onsite to assist.

• A 10-15 minute uniquely crafted ceremony written and conducted by our co-founder Kimba
• A professional PA system
• Assistance with music playlists and other personal elements
• Cemetery Fees are additional to this charge
ADDITIONAL GRAVESIDE SERVICE WITH FULL FUNERAL $6550.00

• Includes Full-Funeral Fee

• We act as wing women to your chosen celebrant and handle all logistics and extras on the
day

• Includes Venue hire costs for up to 5 hours (including self-catering kitchen)
• Includes full PA, slide projector set-up, AV tech and all music and media help and support
• Burial and Interment fees are no included in this offering.
HOME FUNERAL $6750.00

HOME VIGIL $1500.00
• Call out for mortuary expert to the home for assessment and guidance
• At-home mortuary care including washing, dressing, and anointing provided by our team
(extra fees may apply if off-site mortuary care is needed)
• Assistance with enshrouding / encoffining
• Preparation to allow your person to lie in state for up to 48 hours, with 24/7 on-call

• Hire a cooling plate to place under your person (Highly recommended) $200 per day
• Additional Vigil Days $450 per day
• In home doula-style care and support by one of our staff members,

CURATED FUNERAL PACKAGES
THE NEW ORLEANS PACKAGE $7850.00
The perfect send-off for a jazz lover, this package includes a horse-drawn funeral carriage, a trad jazz
trio (larger combo available), our full funeral service and elementals. (cremation/burial fee and venue
hire not included)
FITZROY MASSIF $7200.00
We are big believers in having farewells in places that people loved in life, so this is perfect alternative
funeral option for an inner-north artsy counter-culture type. Alternative Memorial or Funeral options.
Includes a ceremony/wake package at The Tote, Old Bar or Bar Open, a minimum of $400 on the bar,
a jazz, indie, metal or rock quartet (or whatever genre your person dug) for two hours, ceremony co-
creation, and our vintage Cadillac hearse Mama Cass (burial/cremation cost not included). Harley
Hearse available for additional fee.
The above as a memorial service rather than a full funeral is $5025.00
DONATED BODY MEMORIAL $1880.00
This option includes:
