TELEVISION In 2018, all 24 rounds of the BRDC British Formula 3 Championship were broadcast free- to-air by leading UK television network ITV. An hour-long standalone show was screened one week after each of the eight events on ITV4 and ITV4 HD with nearly 100,000 viewers on average tuning in. Once aired, the show was also accessible to view online and on mobile devices via the ITV Hub. The programme featured highlights of every race weekend’s three races, as well as the pre-race build up, podium celebrations, post-race interviews, and behind-the- scenes features on the drivers. The BRDC British Formula 3 Championship was also screened on non-terrestrial television with BT Sport, which has become a hub for quality sporting programming and continues to screen the UK’s premier single seater series. Highlights were also available on demand on motorsport.tv. In 2017, the BRDC British Formula 3 Championship was made available across North America via the highly successful website, Motor Trend On Demand. The subscription service website is one of the largest destinations for premier motorsport video content, with views numbering in the millions. Every BRDC British F3 programme was available on the website, providing valuable exposure to a huge audience outside of the UK and Europe for both drivers and teams. 2019 TV plans will be confirmed in due course. PRODUCTION COMPANY Founded in 1979, Hayfisher is one of the leading independent film and television production companies in the UK. Predominantly focusing on motorsport, Hayfisher produces over 140 broadcast hours of motorsport television each year, specialising in live events coverage, including providing the live feed for the FIA Formula E Championship. Based in Droitwich Spa, Worcestershire, they have also worked with every major terrestrial UK TV channel. Hayfisher has also produced the footage for the British GT and F3 series for the past six years and a close association with motorsport.tv, a relationship that will be continued this year with British F3. SPONSORSHIP BENEFITS To maximise the championship’s extensive media and television exposure, all areas of the British F3 car and race suit are available for driver sponsor branding, except those indicated which are reserved for championship use. To provide competitors with greater flexibility with sponsorship branding, British F3 drivers have two options for the position of the championship logos on their race suit. It is recommended that the Pirelli and Cosworth logos are positioned on the chest.
