Monday Start each day • Complete column 1 “What I think it means” of Word Wall chart. Do this for all three word wall Students work on the Content
with Science words. Have students complete their own chart individually, then work as a class to complete Focus Wall Exit Slip

• Have students read the informational text, and determine the meaning of each key term using

Starters • Have students discuss their thoughts on the reading in pairs or as class, then have them write a Focus Wall Exit Slip
summary using the key terms from the text. -Or-
