• An NPC may be allocated a maximum of thirteen (13)
qualification slots. Exceptions apply for the highest
ranked NPCs in certain medal events at the 2015 Para
Archery World Championships. Qualification slots may
be- allocated as follows:

Qualification Tournament.System 5 Host - Brazil • The Host Country directly qualifies one (1) athlete for each Individual medal event in which they enter at least one (1) athlete at the 2015 Para Archery World Championships. This is the case for RMO, RWO, CMO, CWO. Any unused Host Country slot(s) will be allocated via the Bipartite Commission Invitation Allocation method. This is the case for W1M and W1W

Important Dates 1 July 2015 Start of the period for athletes to attain MQS performances 7-15 August 2015 Para Panamerican Games (Continental Qualification Tournament),Toronto, Canada 23-30 August 2015 Para Archery World Championships, Donaueschingen, Germany 2016, Continental Qualification Tournament Europe 2015, Continental Qualification Tournament Asia 30 April 2016 World Archery notifies in writing to the NPCs the allocation of qualification slots obtained at World Championships and the three Continental Qualifiers 30 April 2016 Deadline for Rio 2016 Organising Committee to receive accreditation application forms submitted by NPCs (“Accreditation Long List)
Important Dates 1 May 2016 Start of the Bipartite Commission Invitation application process 15 May 2016 NPCs confirm in writing to World Archery (email and fax are accepted) the use of allocated qualification slots from World Championships and the three Continental Qualifiers June 2016 tbd World Qualification Tournament 31 May 2016 Deadline for NPCs to submit applications for Bipartite Commission Invitations 1 July 2016 End of the period for athletes to attain MQS performances
