Tiskel DS
Tiskel Dispatch System (DS) is a complete dispatch software package for taxi com-
panies. Its main goal is to deal effectively with processing orders and to keep drivers
in communication with the office. It is designed to be easily customised to fulfill every
customer’s needs. It has a mechanism for issuing vouchers. It also works with dedicat-
ed mobile application - Cab4You.
Terminal
Terminal is a smartphone or a tablet with a dedicated application. It enables a taxi driv-
er to log on in the system, set states, and accept, reject or book jobs. A device must
be equipped with a GPS receiver, a GPS modem and Android operation system (2.1 or
higher). Nowadays there is a full range of devices meeting the above requirements.
Dispatcher
Dispatcher is a special application to be run on a computer with Windows or Linux sys-
tems. Worker at control centre uses Dispacher for setting jobs and sending them to the
drivers.
Dispatching connects to the Server using LAN or the Internet, therefore it can be run
outside of a company control centre.
Tiskel DS Pro
Choosing the Pro option, server application is launched on a computer located in Cli-
ent’s office. Dispatchers work on computers connected to the local area network (LAN)
or communicate using the Internet.

The solution allows you to configure your telephone switchboard in different ways.
Tiskel DS is compatible with most market leading telephone switchboards.
Tiskel DS Cloud
Tiskel DS Cloud is a service running at our site. Both Terminals and Dispatchers con-
nect remotely. It is fully compatible with standard switchboards and Asterisk. Good
news is we can enable Asterisk service at our site as well. This makes your company
independent of most threats.

Map
Tiskel DS is provided with a ready-made streets map based on OpenStreetMap pro-
ject data. There is no need to manually assign thousands of streets to the plots. Open-
StreetMap is a global project aiming to create free, open for general use map of the
World. Maps are created by users through their GPS data, satellite photos and addition-
al sources.
Setting up plots
To divide a city into plots you use intuitive, graphic editor. Plots are marked and modified
by drawing polygons on a map.
Keying in information about drivers
There is a full range of informations that can influence on a dispatch process. For ex-
ample drivers’ preferences like air condition, doing shopping are to be set at the imple-
mentation step. You can have as many of them as you want and label them as you wish.
Keying in workers data
Dispatchers’ personal detailes are keyed in the system. Each worker is given a login and
a password. This helps you to maintain order and makes the reports clear and easy to
understand.

Trustworthy communication
Thanks to the Internet and well developed cellular network communication problems
are rare. Jobs are sent at once. Dispatchers do not waste their precious time.
GPS autoplotting
The plot is recognized automatically using GPS data, according to a vehicle position.
This helps to eliminate mistakes.
Complaints investigator tool
Thanks to the vehicle route tracking it is easy to verify customer’s complaint.
Bidding
Jobs that cannot be taken because of lack of vacant taxis in a plot are automatically
sent for bidding. Taxi drivers are automatically informed about that fact. They notify
their interest in the particular jobs. The system waits until a customisable time elpased.
Then according to the selected rules the job is dispatched. The rules are fully configur-
able (closest, first in queue etc.)
Duties
Tiskel DS can help you with dealing the drivers on duties. We understand there are poor
periods during the week sometimes. You can set the system to watch the drivers to
work according to the specified schedule. Two setups are available. You can sign up the
drivers to the schedule manually or let the drivers to sign up on their

There are hundreds of setups available in Tiskel DS, like plots grouping, plots switching
schedule mechanism. At a glance it is a look into notifications mechanism.
Notifications
The driver has a comfortable way to notify the customer about the car waiting at the
pickup address.
There are several setups to choose when configuring the software. The first step is to
decide how the notifications go:
• Automatically – by choosing the distance left or the time left to arrival.
• Manually by the driver – but still can be limited by the minutes that have to elapse
from the exact time of taking the job by the driver.
Cases
There are three adjustable default cases where you can trigger the notification:
• Job sent to the car.
• The car at the pickup address.
• Finalizing the job.
Textback
The customer receives the SMS with an appropriate informations to the adequate case.
Ringback
The customer receives an automated phone call. As soon as the phone is picked up
your customised voice message is read.

Jobs
Jobs flow summary is available in the form of charts and tables. Every single informa-
tion you will be looking for you will definitely find in the reports module. Switching be-

Vouchers issuing mechanism works as a fully integrated part
of Tiskel DS. The main advantage is, the driver does not need
any extra devices. It is only the smartphone that is used to scan
vouchers.
