• Today we will take a wonderful trip on the North Yorkshire Moors
Railway, and a visit to the historic coastal town of Whitby, with its
famous cliff-top Abbey. We will visit the small village of Goathland, which
is more familiar as ‘Aidensfield’ in the TV series Heartbeat, whilst the
railway station here was used as ‘Hogsmeade’ in the Harry Potter films.
