Elem = Elementary School Level MS = Middle School Level HS = High School Level Panel = The author or illustrator is willing to sit on a panel with other authors/illustrators, either set up by you or our panel coordinator. Panels are a great way for libraries, college literature and English classes to be exposed to more than one author or illustrator. If you wish to have a panel, you may set it up yourself using this list or contact the Panel Coordinator - panels@rmcscbwi.org - to have us put a panel together for you. You can choose from a number of themes or create a theme of your own. Things to Note About Panels Institutions agree to limit the length of a panel session to one hour or less. If you wish to have a longer panel session, please contact the panel coordinator directly to discuss. We recommend a minimum of three panelists and a maximum of five panelists. Fees: $75 per panelist to be paid directly to each panelist on the day of the event. For bookstores hosting a panel and selling panelists’ books, the fees are waived. SkypeTM = The author or illustrator provides “virtual visits” via SkypeTM. This can be an excellent way for students or others to “meet” an author who isn’t local without incurring travel and other costs. Many authors and illustrators offer a free 10-15 minute “meet and greet” in addition to longer paid virtual visits. Check with those who have indicated SkypeTM for more information on what they offer.
