SCENIC RIM HERITAGE NETWORK The Scenic Rim region is rich in history and is home to a number of fascinating and well- resourced museums which play a key role in preserving our region’s cultural heritage. The Scenic Rim Heritage Network (SRHN) is open to community museums and heritage groups HERITAGE NETWORK ARTS & CULTURE LIVE AT THE CENTRE ARTS & CULTURE and is supported by Scenic Rim Regional Council’s Heritage Project Officer and a Queensland Museums Officer. It includes historical villages and museums that chart the progress and development of architecture, farming techniques, living arrangements, politics and major events throughout the Scenic Rim. Meetings of the SRHN are held quarterly at museums around the region. The network has been instrumental in developing signage for our Vibrant Towns and Villages project, to create a sense of place in our communities, and is working on the development of heritage trails across the region.
