Christmas in Little Addington The children of the villages gathered together in St Mary’s, Little Addington on Sunday December 13th for a [socially distanced] Christmas celebration. They had brought along their own pictures of Christmas trees, Santa Claus, holly wreaths and Christmas presents, as they learned about the origins of all our favourite Christmas traditions. Then Andrea told them about the real meaning of Xmas, the birth of our Saviour. As for the pictures they brought, Lynn collected them in a special Santa’s Xmas stocking, socially distanced of course! The Hudson family brass quartet brought some welcome Xmas cheer to the streets of LA on Friday 11th December. They progressed around the village, wherever they could find a lamp post, together with a bucket to collect donations for the local food bank. Villagers came to their doors as they passed, smiling and joining in the carols. The evening brought a collective happy smile to the village and a total of £145 for the food bank. Well done Adele and John! 12
