Safe Ice Rink Operations under COVID-19 Level 2 Response Plan Ice Sports Southland Level 2 Response Plan 19/4/2020
Who we are Ice Sports Southland is a member owned and operated rink. Each of our members help out in some way whether by running public sessions, grooming the ice, working rosters, coaching teams, advertising and publicity or just the general day to day running of the rink. This is how we keep our costs down for you to attend public sessions etc. We are the cheapest rink in the country to skate at. We have considered the health risks associated with COVID-19 at Ice sports Southland and to our members . Health Monitoring The Ice rink will be used and monitored by either members or staff working under this management plan. Members will be able to access the rink with a key box located at the back entrance. Members please contact Simone on 0278 904 188 or Chris Hughes 0274 332 096 or your Code Representative for the access code to enter the facility. Members then register their attendance with the CHECKIN19 app or the paper register at the boot room on arrival. Please park in the complex car park not at the back of the ice rink Members will pay for the session and lessons via invoice that will have to be paid through online banking. (If the member has booked a lesson and does not give their coach 24 hours notice of cancellation they will still be charged) Public sessions will run with no more than 100 people on the ice. All public must keep a 2metre distance from one another when queuing for ice skates. They will register their attendance with the CHECKIN19 app or the paper register at the boot room on arrival. Members and the public must pay careful attention to their wellbeing and others around them by practicing social distancing during all times at the rink. The music room is only available for one member at a time to play music through the stereo unit via CD, USB and Bluetooth (Please do not use the PC desktop in the music room) Public sessions without reception ● Public enter the rink by the East side door closest to the “Kids Hub” please use the complex public car park ● All people entering the rink sign in or scan the registration app. ● People pay at a table at the door entrance on a mobile eftpos only a handwritten receipt is issued showing what has been paid for. ● Eftpos machine to also be sanitized between each person ● 2m Tapes are placed on the ground to allow for distancing. ● 2m Lines are on the ground outside the boot room to make distancing easier for people. ● All seating has 2m distancing marks. ● Rink barriers are sprayed twice every day with cleaners. ● Toilets available in the reception area Ice Sports Southland Level 2 Response Plan 19/4/2020

Ice Sport Southland Members Covid-19 Notification Process 1. Have you returned from overseas in the past 14 days? • If yes, self-isolate for 14 days and monitor health. • If no, go to #2. 2. Are you feeling sick with any of these symptoms? • Fever (at least 38°C) • Cough • Sore throat • Shortness of breath, or • Fatigue? 4. If a member is confirmed to have contracted Covid-19, members will need to contact Healthline on 0800 358 5453 or their doctor immediately.
