Contemplative Prayer with music from Taizé Friday, May 6, 2022 6:30pm St. James Cathedral Living God, at times we are strangers on the earth, disconcerted by the violence, the harsh oppositions. Transfigure the deserts of our doubts and so prepare us to be bearers of reconciliation wherever you place us, until a hope of peace arises in our world. Brother Alois of Taizé On the first Friday of each month, all are welcome to a contemplative prayer in the Cathedral, with song, silence, and candlelight. The service includes the meditative chants of the ecumenical Taizé community in France, founded by Brother Roger Schutz as a sign of reconciliation after World War II.
