What We Made in 2018 RTÉ Investigates The gold standard of RTÉ’s journalism, in 2018 RTÉ Investigates again made headlines with ground-breaking RTÉ NEWS reports. In April, it focused on the case of three girls who were abused at a foster home in Co. Galway. The case & CURRENT raised serious questions about how the HSE responded to the initial reports of abuse. AFFAIRS Troublemakers highlighted the adverse experiences of some families who raised concerns about loved ones in long-term care. In some cases, it found access to visiting their family member had been restricted. Following the programme, the HSE revealed it would review the cases highlighted.
